+Fantastic presentation, atmosphere, and devotion to the Warhammer Fantasy universe. Combat is better than EL but only by a small amount, though I do like automating the battles here because the battle cam does a fantastic job making you feel like you're watching an actual space battle unfold +Customizing your ships and hero ships is fantastic +Similar pro about EL about smaller more subtle gameplay mechanics interlocking with each other It helps make the game feel so alive in a way I've rarely seen from games like these +AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL VISUALS AND ART! I absolutely LOVE the moving portraits for heroes, when you colonize a planet, and even the static pictures for things like planets, the races that inhabit your worlds, everything about this game screams beautiful art and presentation and I think out of all of the 4X games, Endless Space 2 beats the living man ♥♥♥♥♥ out of them here. Diplomacy could be structured abit better (it doesn't suck persay but its so complex that it took awhile for me to come to grips with it +I like how the base building is structured here where you have one base in a whole region +Lots of smaller more subtler mechanics interlocking with each other +Beautiful visuals both in gameplay and art I'll briefly go through each one, what I like and dont like about them all. The biggest ones I've played recently have been Endless Legends, Endless Space 2, Total War Warhammer 2 (even though I know it is not as much of a 4X game as the others, I still count it because it does fulfill those 4Xs to a decent degree), Civilization 6, Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion, and Stellaris. So my question to you guys is how would you rank it against other 4X titles? I like the varied gameplay styles between the races, the environmental details, I feel like the hero system is pretty awesome, and I liked the combat much better here than I did on AOW III.
So I've had some time to play Planetfall (I got it on GOG) and I gotta say I am liking it so far.
